This restaurant claims to be the only haunted restaurant in South Carolina and they have ghost dinners for groups. Definitely could have some ghosts, the restaurant is located in an old house with great ambiance. My wife and I both ordered the Beef Wellington, one of our favorite items and it was one of the best either of us have ever eaten. Service was great.

My girlfriend and I ate here during restaurant week. We were surprised we never heard of this place with how good everything was. We were pleasantly pleased with the food and the excellent service we received. My girlfriend had the Beet and Goat cheese salad for her starter, (Which she finished before I could even take a picture) the Beef Short Ribs for her entree, and Bread Pudding for dessert. I had the Escargot for my starter, Duck Confit my entree, and Chocolate Fondant for dessert. I highly recommend this place for anyone that wants to go someplace special with their partner it’s even got a ghost haunting the place. They also offer dinner and a ghost tour. Which we will plan on doing sometime this year.

Excellent experience all around. Remarkable service, attitude, lighting, and amenities. Delicious fresh drinks and food. We had a birthday group of 6. We were served by 2 wonderfully attentive waitstaff. We shared an Escargo du chef appetizer and drinks. We ordered SeaBass, Duck, Filet Mignon w/ Lobster, Filet tips, French onion soup and finished up with creme brulet. Fantastical!

We went to The Brentwood last night for the first time. First if your looking for an atmosphere away from the standard Strand restaurants this is your place. You can feel the history that must have been in this home now turned dinning destination.
The service was amazing and the stories of the local ghosts that occupy the home was very cool.
The food was delicious offering fare not normally found on here. I had the escargot which was delicious in their buttery sauce, next was the duck served with an orange sause so tasty I could have wiped the plate clean. The Mrs had the French onion soup followed by the pork shoulder. Both portions were more than we could eat in one setting. She both had the cheese cake which was the closest to Brooklyn’s Jr. Cheese cake I've found here. Their is a very extensive wine list for you as well. We will be back with friends and may even take the ghost your. Put The Brentwoof on your list you won't be disappointed.

Wonderful anniversary dinner. Toni was our fabulous waitress. My wife and I are never disappointed with our dining experience at The Brentwood! Years ago we originally discovered this wonderful restaurant by participating in one of their ghost tours and have been hooked ever since. Definitely our go to place for as many special occasions as we can gather.

A little pricey but the presentation was beautiful, and the meal was absolutely outstanding. We ordered the short rib dinner and would do it all over again. I forgot to take a picture of this dinner because we gobbled it up so fast I did not have time. :( the appetizers were delicious. We tried the beet salad, the French onion soup, and the escargot all three were incredible.

EVERY dish I had was absolutely amazing. She crab soup tasted possibly too salty at first, but it balanced itself out. This restaurant is the real deal. Our server Steve was great and can make a great lemonade if you want one! Only restaurant I wanted dessert from as well, the bread pudding was delicious! Highly recommend!

Great fine dining, out of the way but not too far off the beaten path. Easy to get to. Nice atmosphere in the dining area, but don’t miss the upstairs bar. The staff will tell you ghost stories, but there’s a tour twice a week that is probably better for that.
The food was excellent. From the flight of crab-salmon-lobster cakes to the lamb pops and main dishes. We had the duck and a shrimp dish - both delicious. The pumpkin bread pudding for dessert was very good. Excellent wine selection, as you’d expect.
The bar *might* have a good new selection of spooky drinks soon. For…reasons.
